It was quite cool to see the starlings visiting the Bisons just the same way the Cattle Egrets usually do. The starlings snatched insects the same way. This place is probably too far north for the egrets.

At this stop at Yellowstone Lake on our way to Cody we saw two raptors. And this time I really learned how old and wared out my equipment are. I have both birds but the quality is bad compared with Britas images. Mine are darker and has a lot of noise that hers don´t have.  I have the permission to share hers as well.

I immediately recognize the swans of course, Then there are a lot of different ducks but in a plumage's  I´m not used to. But I think the one in the second shot is a Ring-necked duck. And the last one is a juvenile Coot. I have to look more closely on several images to fine out some more of them.

One or four species? Not yet decided as it seems, so which one this is I have no clue. But the bird was seen at two locations. First one at the Mormon Row barns and the second at Yellowstone Lake.

A bird I had some problems identifying as I am not used to see it in this plumage. But I think it is a female Eurasian Wigeon.

Loved to see this swan family. There was a pair and three juveniles. A new swan species for me. Think I have them all but the Tundra swan now. (Or maybe not) We saw them on the river when we were going to Yellowstone Grand Canyan.

© NF Photo 170926-171006 , Grand Teton NP and Yellowstone NP

A group of these birds were outside my cabin at Colter Bay Village, 170929,  at Jackson Lake.
It should be some kind of finch but I can´t find which one. Anyone knows?
