Some kind of finch I guess,

A group of these birds were outside my cabin at Colter Bay Village, 170929, at Jackson Lake.
It should be some kind of finch but I can´t find which one. Anyone knows?

They are pretty...blend in with that grass quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteThey are attractive in a subtle sort of way, but I have no idea what they are. I even looked in my bird book and couldn't find a match. Let me know if you find out, I am curious now:)

They are so sweet! I'm not sure about the id but I'm sure someone will know! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI was gonna say "not finch" but a group of juvenile white crowned sparrows. I love the area you've been birding around these past weeks!! Beautiful country.
ReplyDeleteThanks, as always, for sharing this post with us birders at I'd Rather B Birdin' this week!! Your participation is very much appreciated.
Sweet little birds!
