Gulls and crows in Rausu harbor

Well. I´m no expert on gulls but in these shots I think I have Slaty-backed gull and one Glaucous-winged gull. And also one crow, Carrion crow.

  1. Love it ... your crows have a different look than ours. They are more like the Raven but not quite as stark. I love the crow family because they are smart and humorous to watch. They do communicate with each other and are very social within their groups. And who doesn't love a Gull ... also humorous to watch and there are so many different versions that all act exactly alike. Nature certainly is interesting :)

  3. These are really nice...they remind me of the purposeful coloration of photos in one spot that are mostly black & white...but this was done by the subject itself!
