I really love this easy way to see the Cattle Herons. Just walking the park. :)

  1. I don't believe I have ever seen them in a park. We usually spot them in the open pastures where there are piles of dung that attract insects. But, lucky you, your Cow Egrets hang in your park ... now what do you suppose attracts them there :)

  4. We have thousands of them every summer here along the Texas Gulf Coast. They really do go right along with the cattle here.
