House Finch - Haemorhous mexicanus

I don´t know why but these birds always puzzles me. So colorful. I saw them in Morocco too and think it is the same species. In Hawaii they can also have a yellow or orange chest. Another thing is that the images I have not really matches what I´ve seen elsewhere. :(
Or maybe they eat pineapple and get colored by it (giggling), at least the pineapple ice cream was yellow.

It does look different than the House Finches I've seen in other photos. It is very colorful. Are there still pineapples at the Dole plantation? I thought it closed.
