A group of these birds were outside my cabin at Colter Bay Village, 170929,  at Jackson Lake.
It should be some kind of finch but I can´t find which one. Anyone knows?

  1. They are pretty...blend in with that grass quite a bit.

  2. They are attractive in a subtle sort of way, but I have no idea what they are. I even looked in my bird book and couldn't find a match. Let me know if you find out, I am curious now:)

  4. I was gonna say "not finch" but a group of juvenile white crowned sparrows. I love the area you've been birding around these past weeks!! Beautiful country.

Thanks, as always, for sharing this post with us birders at I'd Rather B Birdin' this week!! Your participation is very much appreciated.
