Prärietrana - Grus canadensis - Sandhill crane

The four of these Sandhill cranes was the only ones we saw of this species. And they were so hard to find. 

I am happy that I got some useful shots at all. A few of them spend the winter in the south of Japan. This day they were surprised by the snow.
