My trip to Iceland wa not a birding tour but I found some birds never the less. Start out with Greater Scauo. I found this couple in a rather large dam in Reykjavik. It was a "photographic" lifer to me. So I was pleased. Trip to Iceland started out well. This one looks rather much like the Tufted duck but has no "tuft" and differs a little in colors.

  3. We had greater scoups in our lake this spring ... interesting that they are also in Iceland.

  9. Wonderful shots. So many times the lifer gets away without a photo, or gets away with only a blurry or lousy photo to show for it. Well done!
