We had payed a visit to Ulua Lagoon 4 for a swim and tanning. I has seen those black swans on our way there. I hoped they would still be there when we left. And they were. I sould see 4 of them but photograping was hard as we were on teh main road and could not stop. Just moving slowly forward. Well, I got these shots so I´m happy. 

When I was young they had a pair of swans in a country museum .  One black and one white. They formed a heart with their heads for a moment. So beautiful and my camera misbehaved ,  it was long before digital era. I only got half the shot.   :(

Magnificent_Frigatebird - Fregata magnificens

This was the closest I came to the Frigate bird. It was chased by a lot of green parrots. Probably the Rose-ringed Parakeet. There was lots of them. The parakeets did not seem to like having the Frigatebird in the area. Reminded me of gulls and eagles. From what I can tell of the images this is a female as I can spot a white mark on her.

There was lots of white doves in Honolulu. They made you think of angels when you saw them in sunlight.

This is a wader I found at KOKO POINT outside Honolulu last August. I have not been able to find which one it is and are hoping somebody can help out. It was alone.

I think this bird had a nest somewhere along the wall as it was flying close to it for a distance. It has the posture of a dancer. :)

About White-Rumped Shama on What Bird

"Native to Southeast Asia. Introduced to Kauai in 1931, Oahu in 1940 and Maui in the late 1900s in an effort to supplement the native fauna. They also occur on Molokai and Lanai. "
