Wild Bird Wednesday

Strömand - Histrionicus histrionicus - Harlequin duck

From what I was told this is the most colorful duck in Iceland.
I saw it in a river close to Myvatn. Guess which one is the male?

Lunnefågel - Fratercula arctica - Atlantic Puffin

On the whaling tour we also saw a lot of birds. Puffins among them. It seemed they had an island of their own. Lots of them around there. We could not go ashore of course. But we were rather close.
